What takes the 60 to 90 minutes?
The time goes to a real inspection against the federal criteria, not a quick walk-around. We check the brake systems, coupling devices, exhaust, fuel system, lighting, safe loading, steering, suspension, frame, tires, wheels and rims, and wipers. That is the full 49 CFR 396.17 list.
