Knox Trailers

On-site repair, I-40 & I-75

Broke down? We come to you.

Mobile service trucks dispatched same-day for trailer repair at your yard, the highway, or wherever you broke down. We carry common parts. We bill less than your downtime costs.

Pulling a broken trailer to the shop is often more expensive than the actual repair. Knox Trailers runs mobile service trucks along the I-40 and I-75 corridors out of Knoxville. We come to your yard, your jobsite, or the side of the road. We carry common parts (slack adjusters, brake chambers, air lines, lights, tires) and the diagnostic tools to figure out what's wrong fast. Most mobile calls are dispatched same-day.

What good looks like

When you bring a trailer to Knox Trailers, here's what you should expect.

  • Mobile truck dispatched within 60 minutes of your call
  • Truck arrives with the parts most likely to fix the issue
  • Diagnosis on site, repair on site, back on the road on site
  • Billed by the job, not the hour — no surprise mileage charges
  • Service records emailed before the truck leaves your location
  • Follow-up call within 24 hours to verify the fix held

Why fleets keep us on speed dial

Mobile service done right saves money even when our hourly rate is higher than a shop rate. Three hours of downtime for one trailer often costs more than the entire mobile repair. We've calculated this for enough fleets to know the math.

Our mobile trucks are equipped — not just a tech with a toolbox. Diagnostic computers for ABS and reefer units, air system testing tools, common brake and air parts, electrical components, basic tire repair. Most mobile calls get fixed on the first visit.

Common questions

How fast can you get to me?

Mobile trucks are typically dispatched within 60 minutes for fleet customers and 60–120 minutes for first-time callers. Travel time depends on distance and traffic.

What if the repair needs the shop?

We're honest about it. If the issue requires shop-level tools (frame work, major structural, paint), we'll tell you on the call so you can plan towing. We won't bill mobile time for a repair we can't complete on site.

Do you do mobile service after hours?

Yes, for our regular fleet customers on a 24/7 emergency line. After-hours rates apply. For non-customers, after-hours availability depends on what's open in the queue.

Ready to get it fixed?

Same-day appointments most weeks for fleet customers. Call or request a quote and we'll get you scheduled.
